The nurse just called--we're about 5 and a half hours in and they are still working and he's doing ok. The next update will be at 5:30, so I'll update the blog then.

Excellent!! Now get some rest and try have some food and take deep breaths.
Linds - you're doing a really special thing keeping us updated...thank you. I've still got unwaivering confidence for a thoroughly positive outcome. Doug's endurance will outlast anything put in his path.
Linds - I just got home from school and sat right down at my computer to check on the progress. I thought of you and Doug often during the day. So glad to hear that things are going well. You are a rock, sweetie, and I know how tough this is on you. Sure wish I could be there with you. Please know in my heart I am. Love you lots and am sending lots of love Doug's way.
