6:00 update

Hi guys--

Good news---Doug is now in the chemotherapy part of the surgery which means that the actual surgery is complete. He just has the chemo for 90 minutes and then gets sewn back up. I am getting an updated phone call at 7:30 to give us an idea of what time they will be closing up--the nurse guessed it would be in the 8:30 pm timeframe---almost 12 hours of surgery if that time holds. Still no info on specifics, but the nurse said that he is stable and hangin' in there (like we all knew he would).

More updates at 7:30 pm.

Love, Lindsey

Lindsey (and everyone),
Thanks for keeping us "posted." Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Munsons just came out with a chocolate cancer campaign so I guess I'll have to buy some to send down so they have to contribute!!!
Lots of love and hugs to all. Lindsey, you are amazing!

Everyone at work was checking the blog today. Fortunately IT took the web blocker off of the site so that everyone could check the blog throughout the day. Thanks so much for the updates Lindsey!

Lindsey,
Thank you for the updates. Throughout the day, everyone has been watching out for these updates. Once they come out, it spreads like wildfire at work. Even people from the second shift have been coming over to ask for the updates... Sophie lit a candle and said some prayers in church.
Hang in there. Thaqnk you for all the updates, for the patience, and the strength. We're all praying and rooting for the best
